Castellón Mayor Alberto Fabra, accompanied by the Spanish athlete Chema Martinez, have announced that the capital of La Plana plans to organize the "I Castellón City Marathon" in which they hope to have important national and international athletes.

In total over 33,000 euros will be allocated among the the top finishers in all categories and in the marathon, involving both national and international athletes. The Spanish Olympic Athlete Chema Martinez, has already confirmed his presence in this first edition and in the career development both nationally and internationally.
